The Reflections Program

PTSA encourages students to pursue artistic expression through participation in the annual Reflections Program. This program has encouraged millions of students across the nation to explore their artistic talents through this theme-based arts recognition program. Reflections is an arts and writing recognition and achievment program. Students submit their work into one of six categories: Literature, Photography, Visual Arts, Musical Composition, Dance Choreography, and Film Video. Entries are first judged at the local level. Judging is based on creativity, artistic merit and interpretatin of the the theme. The theme for 2010 is, "Beauty is..."

The top three winners in each category at CHS are given a monetary award from our PTSA. These works then move on to the state level. Recognition at the state level is given in two categories: "Award of Merit" and "Award of Excellence." Those recieving the "Award of Excellence" move on to the nation level.

Go to NevadaPTA.org for more information and entry forms.
