Mrs. Bellona came to Carson High School in February of 1994. She did her undergraduate work
at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and received her Master's in Counseling from Sonoma State
University. Before she came to Carson City, she was at Santa Rosa Junior College counseling
students and teaching classes on how to be a better student. She was also a substitute
teacher for five years in San Luis Obispo and the Bay area.
Mrs. Bellona loves working with the students, helping them to succeed in school and make
choices for the future. She encourages students to come to the guidance office to make an
appointment to go over credits and make plans for the next school year. She also loves for students to just drop in and say hi and tell her how their day is going.
