Safe Grad
We are asking for your help. Without parent and community support, this event would not be possible and future years could be in jeopardy. It requires that we receive a large amount of donations and the help of many volunteers from the community and high school. Traditionally, we have asked junior parents to chaperone the night of the party, sophomore parents to help decorate, and freshman parents to help with clean-up of the community center the following morning. While your student will not be able to participate in Safe Grad this year, we are asking for your help to ensure the continued success of this wonderful grogram for many years to come.
Volunteering for the event is easy and does not require a huge time commitment, since the majority of help is needed the day of the event. However, if you would like to get involved with the planning of Safe Grad, we are looking for parents to chair the Volunteer and Casino sub-committees. We are also looking for volunteers to work as dealers for blackjacks, craps and roulette the night of the event. Another way you can help is to donate raffle prizes (i.e. movie theater tickets, video rental/restaurant/clothing store gift certificates).
We wish you all our seniors well and want to see them realize their hopes and dreams. Please join us and make a difference! The meeting for the PTSA Safe Grad Committee are held on the first Monday of the month at 6:00 pm in room 168 on the southeast side of the main school building.
