Peter Lathrop

One of the more experienced teachers at Carson High is Mr. Lathrop who has been teaching here for 15 years. Biology and Botany/Zoology are the subjects he now teaches. He has also taught in rural New Mexico, Honduras, and The Netherlands. As we as teaching he enjoys helping with his daughters' soccer teams, hiking, and being with his wife and daughters. His volunteer resume includes Walk for Life, being a coach and AR for AYSO, FFA, and PALS mentor program advisor, Natural Helpers, Friends of Hope Valley, and contributing research for the Eastern Sierra Institute for Collaborative Education and articles on John C. Fremont's exploration in Nevada and Alpine Country.
